The survey with no code field

Checked on 19 August 2026, WendysWantsToKnow.com asked for exactly three things — Restaurant Number, Date of Visit and Time of Visit — with no survey code field anywhere on the page. The footer credits Service Management Group, the same vendor that runs MCDVoice, where a 26-digit code split across six boxes is the only way in. Same platform, opposite design decision.
That has a practical consequence nobody writes down. The standard failure on a McDonald's receipt is a survey code that has faded off thermal paper. On a Wendy's receipt there is no code to fade; the three fields sit in the header block, which is the part that prints darkest and survives longest in a pocket. What you do still need is the validation code handed back at the end, which is shown once in the browser, written on the paper by hand, and redeemed on a later visit.
Prices move by owner, not by menu board
The Wendy's Company's Form 10-K counts 5,969 restaurants in the US and 7,397 worldwide at 28 December 2025, and roughly 93% of the US estate is owned by independent operators who set their own prices. Four published lists put a Dave's Single between $5.99 and $6.79, against $5.19 for 2024, and none of those figures is a quote for any restaurant.
Value moved on 14 January 2026. The 4 for $4 is gone. Biggie Deals replaced it with $4 Biggie Bites, a Biggie Bag priced from $5 to $6 depending on the build, and an $8 Biggie Bundle, while the Baconator sits at the premium end. The secret menu is a naming problem
There is no official Wendy's secret menu, and the useful version of that statement is narrower than it sounds. The Barnyard Burger and the Grand Slam are real in that a crew member can assemble them from stock ingredients — but nobody behind the counter is trained on the names, so ordering by components is what works. Even the enthusiast sources disagree on the builds: the Grand Slam is variously specified with 2 slices of cheese and with 4.
The Frosty Float, by contrast, was once an official item, which is a different category again and explains why some staff recognise it and others do not.
Working at Wendy's

Corporate and company-restaurant staff use weconnect.wendys.com, which has run on Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM since late 2023. Everyone else logs into whatever provider their franchisee chose, and ADP, Paycor, Paychex and AllianceHCM all appear across the franchise base. There is no master list, and Wendy's does not publish one.
If you worked at two Wendy's locations under different owners in one tax year, you have two employers, two portals and two W-2s. Federal law requires every one of those employers to furnish a W-2 by January 31, whether or not you still have portal access when the date arrives.
