- HelpMeLogin is not Bread Financial Holdings, Inc. or Comenity Capital Bank. This site holds no credentials, takes no payments and cannot look up a loan.
- No first-party phone number could be read for this product. Anything a search result offers as a hotline came from somewhere else, so use the number on your own statement.
- A dispute goes to the bank named on your note. On a personal installment loan that is Comenity Capital Bank, and which of the two Comenity banks holds it decides where the letter is addressed.
- Old borrower bookmarks now land on a merchant page. A page selling business solutions is not a sign that your loan has moved.
The Bread Loans login sits behind breadfinancial.com/en/bread-loans.html, and the lender is Comenity Capital Bank rather than Bread Financial. That comes from a comment letter to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation dated 18 September 2025, signed by the bank's own president. The parent company above it is Bread Financial Holdings, Inc. An old borrower host, payments.breadfinancial.com, now returns a 302 to a merchant page, and no phone number is published.

What you need
11 itemsHow it works
Read the bank name on your own loan agreement
A note names its lender. In this family that is Comenity Capital Bank, and the paperwork is the only place saying so with your account number attached.
Work out which product you actually have
A merchant places Bread Pay at checkout. A Bread Loan is standalone, described in the bank's letter as running up to $35,000 over 24 to 60 months. The two once shared a host, which is why borrowers arrive in the wrong place.
Abandon the payments hostname
payments.breadfinancial.com answers with a 302 and lands on a business solutions page written for merchants. Its /login path forwards to the site root. Neither is a borrower entry point now.
Start from the live product page
breadfinancial.com/en/bread-loans.html is the current first-party page. Automated fetches of it returned an Imperva challenge shell rather than content, so no screen is described here that has not been seen.
If something goes wrong
My old payments.breadfinancial.com bookmark shows a page about business solutions
- Cause
- The host now forwards to a merchant page
- Fix
- Both the root and the /login path return a 302. The borrower entry point moved, and your loan did not.
I cannot find a customer service number anywhere
- Cause
- None is published on a readable first-party page
- Fix
- Every page attempted came back as a firewall challenge rather than content. Use the number printed on your own statement.
I need to send a written dispute and do not know who to address
- Cause
- The brand and the lender are different parties
- Fix
- The bank named on your note is the counterparty. On a Bread Loan that is Comenity Capital Bank, whose president signed the letter describing the product.
My agreement says Comenity Bank, not Comenity Capital Bank
- Cause
- The group runs two banks
- Fix
- Comenity Bank issues much of the retail card business while the Capital entity carries Bread Loans and Bread Savings. One word of difference, two companies.
Searching SEC filings for the product finds nothing
- Cause
- The phrase does not appear there
- Fix
- A full-text search of EDGAR returns zero filings containing Bread Loans, so securities filings are not a usable source. The FDIC letter is.
What’s fixed, and what actually varies
The corporate structure is documented. What a given borrower is holding is far less obvious.
Fixed
- Comenity Capital Bank is the lender of record on Bread Loans
- Bread Financial Holdings, Inc. is the parent rather than the lender
- payments.breadfinancial.com no longer serves a borrower login
- No first-party customer service telephone number could be read
Varies
- Whether your agreement is a Bread Loan, a Bread Pay plan or a Comenity Bank card
- Which of the two Comenity banks appears on your paperwork
- The servicing address, printed on your statement and nowhere public
Open the loan agreement or the statement. The bank line is on it, and no website replaces that.
How compares
Four lending brands where the name on the advertising is not the name on the credit.
| Chain | What the brand says | Who actually holds it | Where the login is |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bread Loans | Bread Financial | Comenity Capital Bank, an industrial bank in Utah | breadfinancial.com/en/bread-loans.html |
| Best Egg | Best Egg | Cross River Bank or Column N.A., serviced by Marlette | auth.bestegg.com |
| Snap Finance | Snap | A lease, or a bank partner Snap does not name | customer.snapfinance.com/#/login |
| Sally Beauty Card | Sally Beauty | Comenity Capital Bank, the same Utah bank | The Comenity brand path for that card |
Structure read from the FDIC comment letter of 18 September 2025, and redirect behaviour checked on 8 September 2026.
A holding company can put its name on everything and lend nothing. The bank on the note is the party a borrower actually deals with.
A firewall closed the front door, and a regulator's letterbox opened a side one
This page began as a dead end. Every breadfinancial.com address attempted came back as an Imperva challenge shell rather than a page: the loans page, the help centre, the terms document, the apex with and without www. A firewall block says nothing about whether pages exist, and search indexes still carry their live titles. It does mean the login screen cannot be described honestly from here, so it is not described at all.
The way in was a regulatory filing. On 18 September 2025 the group wrote to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the letter carries two signatures: Bruce Bowman, President of Comenity Capital Bank, and Joseph Motes, EVP, CAO and General Counsel of Bread Financial Holdings, Inc. In it the bank describes its own products in its own words: "personal installment loans (Bread Loans™) up to $35,000, with terms of 24 to 60 months", plus "credit card loans through private label and co-brand credit card programs" and "Bread Savings products…certificates of deposit and high-yield savings accounts". It gives its size as "total consolidated assets of approximately $13.0 billion as of June 30, 2025".
That settles what the old post got wrong. The product exists, and the lender of record is an industrial bank in Utah called Comenity Capital Bank. Above it sits Bread Financial Holdings, Inc., a parent rather than a lender.
A second bank shares the group. Comenity Bank and Comenity Capital Bank are not interchangeable: retail card programmes largely sit at one, the loans and savings products at the other. Write to the wrong entity and you have written to a different company.
The last piece is a moved door. payments.breadfinancial.com used to be where borrowers went. It now answers with a 302 onto a business solutions page written for merchants, and its login path forwards to the homepage. Bread Pay, the merchant-placed pay-over-time product, shares enough history with the loan that people confuse them constantly, and this redirect is where that confusion usually starts.
Questions people ask
Who is the lender on a Bread Loan?
Comenity Capital Bank. Its own president co-signed the FDIC letter describing the product as one of the bank's.
Is Bread Financial the bank?
The parent company is Bread Financial Holdings, Inc. The lending entity named in the filing is the bank underneath it.
Where do I log in?
breadfinancial.com/en/bread-loans.html is the current first-party product page and the only account route that could be confirmed.
Why does payments.breadfinancial.com send me to a merchant page?
It returns a 302 to a business solutions page, and the /login path forwards to the site root. The old borrower entry point is gone.
What is the Bread Loans phone number?
The company does not publish one that could be read here. The number on your statement is the reliable route.
How big is a Bread Loan?
The bank's letter describes personal installment loans up to $35,000 with terms of 24 to 60 months. That describes the product, not a quote for anyone.
What is the difference between Bread Pay and Bread Loans?
A merchant places Bread Pay at checkout as pay-over-time. The loan is standalone. They shared a host, which is why people land in the wrong place.
Which Comenity bank holds my account?
Your paperwork says. The two are separate entities, and the loan sits at the Capital one.
