Home Depot Credit Card Login — Citi Holds It, the Store Answers

Before you sign in to a Home Depot credit account
  • HelpMeLogin is not a bank and holds no accounts. This site cannot see a balance, take a payment or reset a password.
  • Four credit products share one Credit Center. Confirm which you hold before typing a password: a consumer login aimed at a Commercial Account page fails silently.
  • Type citiretailservices.citibankonline.com rather than following a link you were sent. A sign-in address ending in a long query string is easy to imitate.
  • The numbers printed on your statement beat any number in a search advert. Home Depot itself publishes 1-866-875-5488 and 1-888-944-2227.

The Home Depot credit card login runs on Citi's retail platform, at citiretailservices.citibankonline.com carrying the siteId PLCN_HOMEDEPOT, and the retailer's own way in is homedepot.com/myaccount/thdcreditcard. Its issuer is Citibank, N.A. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, trading as Citi Retail Services, and that has not changed. What is odd is that the shop, rather than the bank, publishes the working numbers: 1-866-875-5488 inside the United States, 423-467-6124 from abroad, and 1-888-944-2227 for TDD/TTY.

How it works

  1. Name your product before you name your password

Read the header on your statement. A Consumer Credit Card, a Project Loan, a Commercial Revolving Charge and a Commercial Account all sit with Citi under one Credit Center, yet each keeps its own sign-in page and service line.

  2. Go in through homedepot.com/myaccount/thdcreditcard

That page hands a consumer account to the right Citi Retail Services door. Behind it sits citiretailservices.citibankonline.com with siteId PLCN_HOMEDEPOT.

  3. Ring the retailer's line rather than a bank switchboard

Citi's marketing pages carry no Home Depot number at all. The retailer's own Credit Center publishes 1-866-875-5488, plus 423-467-6124 for callers outside the country and 1-888-944-2227 for TDD/TTY.

  4. Copy the payment address off the statement in front of you

Two are in use. Post reaches Home Depot Credit Services at Processing Center, Des Moines, IA 50364-0000 and at PO Box 6028, The Lakes, NV 88901-6028. Yours is whichever the bill prints.

  5. Use the Las Vegas address only for couriers

A courier cannot deliver to a PO box. Overnight payments go to HDCS/Citibank, 8725 W Sahara Blvd., Zone 1135 THD, Las Vegas, NV 89117-5873.

If something goes wrong

I can sign in, but the balance shown is not the account I wanted

Cause
Home Depot runs four credit products from one Credit Center
Fix
Consumer Credit Card, Project Loan, Commercial Revolving Charge and Commercial Account each sit on their own siteId. Check the statement header first.

A consumer password is rejected on a commercial page

Cause
The two sides do not share credentials, and the page does not explain the mismatch
Fix
Nothing is wrong with the password. Return through homedepot.com/myaccount/thdcreditcard and pick the product your statement names.

homedepot.com/mycard will not open

Cause
That shortcut would not resolve on 8 September 2026, and the robots fetch returned 503
Fix
A 503 on a robots fetch proves nothing about the shortcut. Use homedepot.com/myaccount/thdcreditcard, which does resolve.

Citi's main website cannot find my Home Depot account

Cause
Consumer store cards are serviced on the retail-services platform
Fix
Sign in at citiretailservices.citibankonline.com instead. Only the Costco Anywhere Visa among Citi's better-known cards lives on citi.com proper.

A posted cheque has not been credited

Cause
Two payment addresses exist and only one belongs to your account
Fix
Two boxes are live: Processing Center, Des Moines, IA 50364-0000 and PO Box 6028, The Lakes, NV 88901-6028. Ring 1-866-875-5488 before you stop the cheque.

The toll-free number will not connect from abroad

Cause
United States toll-free ranges rarely carry international traffic
Fix
Dial 423-467-6124, which the retailer publishes for exactly this.

What’s fixed, and what actually varies

The bank is settled here. Which door you walk through is not.

Fixed

  • Citibank, N.A. issues the consumer card, trading as Citi Retail Services
  • citiretailservices.citibankonline.com is the servicing host for every one of these products
  • 1-866-875-5488 is the line Home Depot itself publishes
  • TDD/TTY runs on 1-888-944-2227

Varies

  • Which of the four credit products your account number belongs to
  • Which siteId your sign-in link carries
  • Which of the two payment addresses appears on your statement

Look at the statement header. It names the product, and the product decides both the sign-in page and the telephone line that can see your balance.

How compares

Four cards sold in four very different shops. One bank runs the plumbing under three of them.

ChainWhat the card saysWho actually holds itWhere the login is

CostcoCostco Anywhere VisaCitibank, N.A. on its ordinary consumer sideciti.com, with no Costco-branded host at all

Every row here ends at Citi. Only the last one leaves the retail-services platform for the bank's main site.

Three of these four sign in on the same host and differ only by siteId, so a link that works for one card returns nothing for another.

One shop, four credit products, and a bank that says very little

The post this page replaces gave a phone number and left the impression that the shop was also the lender. Half right, and the wrong half matters.

Issuing duty belongs to Citibank, N.A. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, trading as Citi Retail Services, and the Home Depot Consumer Credit Card Agreement hosted by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau names that bank in plain type. Citi lists the Pro Xtra Credit Card among its retail store cards too. What Citi never publishes is a service number for this programme, which is why every useful contact detail here comes from the retailer: 1-866-875-5488 inside the United States, 423-467-6124 from outside it, and 1-888-944-2227 for TDD/TTY.

The harder problem is the shape of the programme. There is not one credit product. There are four. A Consumer Credit Card, a Project Loan, a Commercial Revolving Charge and a Commercial Account all hang off one Credit Center and all sit with Citi, yet they do not share sign-in pages, and each carries a different siteId on citiretailservices.citibankonline.com, so a perfectly good consumer password entered against a commercial siteId bounces with no explanation offered.

That silence is the failure mode. Nobody is locked out. No account is suspended. A cardholder stands at the wrong door holding the right key, and the door carries no sign.

Payments repeat the pattern in miniature. Home Depot Credit Services publishes two mailing addresses, at Processing Center, Des Moines, IA 50364-0000 and at PO Box 6028, The Lakes, NV 88901-6028, with 8725 W Sahara Blvd., Zone 1135 THD, Las Vegas, NV 89117-5873 for couriers. Your statement names yours. Copy it from there.

One gap is worth stating. The homedepot.com/mycard shortcut named in the old slug would not resolve on 8 September 2026, and the robots fetch returned 503 — a failure to read, not a finding.

Questions people ask

Citibank, N.A. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, trading as Citi Retail Services. That agreement hosted by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau names the bank directly.

Start at homedepot.com/myaccount/thdcreditcard. The form itself loads from citiretailservices.citibankonline.com under the siteId PLCN_HOMEDEPOT.

Did the issuer of the Home Depot card change?

Nothing read on 8 September 2026 says so. The current agreement names Citibank, N.A., and Citi still lists the card among its retail store cards.

HelpMeLogin is an independent informational site. It is not a bank, a card issuer or a financial adviser, and it is not affiliated with The Home Depot, Citibank, N.A. or Citi Retail Services. Nothing here is financial advice. Your own cardholder agreement and your statement govern.
