Meijer Credit Card Login — Citi Retail Services Holds It

Before you sign in to a Meijer card account
  • HelpMeLogin is not Citi, Meijer or a bank. This site holds no accounts, cannot see a balance and cannot take a payment.
  • A Comenity address for this card is out of date, whatever a search result says. d.comenity.net/ac/mcard and c.comenity.net/meijercreditcard both still surface, and neither services this programme.
  • No phone number is printed here, because Meijer does not publish one. Use the number on the back of your card or on your statement, and treat a number offered by a search result as unverified.
  • Reaching a card portal through a search result is itself the risk. Type citiretailservices.citibankonline.com, or start from meijer.com.

The Meijer credit card login is at citiretailservices.citibankonline.com, because Citi Retail Services issues the card. The announcement came from Citigroup on 28 January 2020: Citi would become "the exclusive issuer of the Meijer private label and co-brand credit card program beginning on February 24, 2020". Legacy Comenity addresses still rank in search, and they lead to the wrong servicer entirely. No customer service number is published on any Meijer page that could be read, so use the one on the back of the card.

How it works

  1. Ignore the first page of search results

This is the one card in the batch where the search index is the problem. Old Comenity paths still rank, and somebody who clicks one cannot sign in and concludes the account is closed. It is not closed. It is elsewhere.

  2. Type the Citi address

citiretailservices.citibankonline.com is the portal. Within it, the Meijer programme carries the site identifier PLCN_MEIJER, the string separating it from the dozens of other retail programmes on the same platform.

  3. Check the date against your own card

The programme became exclusive to Citi on 24 February 2020, and existing cardholders were sent replacement cards in mid-February 2020. A card older than that is the one likely to send you somewhere obsolete.

  4. Take the phone number off the card, not off this page

No first-party page that could be read publishes one. meijer.com renders in JavaScript and help.meijer.com is robots-blocked, so the number is undisclosed here. The back of the card carries the line Citi answers.

  5. Keep the announcement wording if you need to argue the point

Citigroup's release of 28 January 2020 says Citi Retail Services would be "the exclusive issuer of the Meijer private label and co-brand credit card program beginning on February 24, 2020". Exclusive is the operative word.

If something goes wrong

A search result took me to a Comenity page and my details were rejected

Cause
d.comenity.net/ac/mcard and c.comenity.net/meijercreditcard are leftovers
Fix
Neither services the Meijer programme. Go to citiretailservices.citibankonline.com. A rejection there is a wrong-servicer problem, and it says nothing at all about your account.

I think my account has been closed

Cause
Failing to sign in on the wrong servicer looks identical to a closed account
Fix
Try the Citi portal before assuming anything. If that fails too, ring the number on the back of the card, the only published route to somebody who can see the account.

I want the customer service number

Cause
No readable Meijer page publishes one
Fix
meijer.com is JavaScript-rendered and help.meijer.com is robots-blocked, so no number is printed here. Read it off the back of your card or off a statement.

Which company was the issuer before Citi?

Cause
No predecessor is named by Citi
Fix
No first-party document naming one was obtained. Meijer appears in neither CFPB agreement listing for Comenity Bank nor the one for Comenity Capital Bank, which points at Comenity but does not confirm it. This page records it as inferred.

The portal asks which programme I hold

Cause
One platform hosts many Citi Retail Services programmes
Fix
The Meijer programme uses the site identifier PLCN_MEIJER. Selecting the wrong brand on the platform is a common reason a valid login is refused.

My card is from before 2020

Cause
Replacement cards went out in mid-February 2020
Fix
Existing cardholders were sent new plastic then. An older card and older paperwork will point at a servicer that no longer runs this programme.

What’s fixed, and what actually varies

The issuer is settled. What the internet says about it is not.

Fixed

  • Citi Retail Services issues the Meijer card
  • The programme moved to Citi on 24 February 2020
  • citiretailservices.citibankonline.com is the sign-in address
  • PLCN_MEIJER identifies this programme on that platform

Varies

  • Which address a search engine hands you today
  • Whether your card predates the February 2020 reissue
  • Which phone number a third-party page claims is correct

Look at the card. The issuer is printed on it and the service number is on the back, and both beat anything a search result asserts about this programme.

How compares

Four accounts, and on none of them does the retailer's name tell you who to call.

ChainWhat the card saysWho actually holds itWhere the login is

Card programmes change hands and portals move with them. The back of your own card governs, not this table.

Meijer is the case where the wrong answer is easiest to find, because the obsolete addresses were never taken down and search engines still rank them.

Why a search result sends Meijer cardholders to the wrong bank

Two legacy pages on this site pointed Meijer cardholders at Comenity addresses. Search engines still do. That is the whole problem, and it is worth being exact about what is known and what is merely likely.

What is documented: Citigroup announced on 28 January 2020 that Citi Retail Services would become "the exclusive issuer of the Meijer private label and co-brand credit card program beginning on February 24, 2020", with existing cardholders receiving new cards in mid-February 2020. First-party, dated, and more than most of these transitions offer.

What is not documented is who held the programme before. No predecessor is named by Citi on any page that could be read. There is supporting evidence pointing at Comenity: Meijer appears in neither the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau agreement listing for Comenity Bank nor the one for Comenity Capital Bank, both checked in full on 4 September 2026, which is consistent with a programme that left. Consistent is not confirmed. No first-party document naming Comenity as the predecessor was obtained, so this page records the point as inferred and goes no further with it.

The practical damage comes from the leftovers. d.comenity.net/ac/mcard and c.comenity.net/meijercreditcard still surface for Meijer card queries. Somebody clicks one, cannot sign in, and reasonably concludes the account has been closed. It has not. The account sits on the Citi Retail Services platform at citiretailservices.citibankonline.com, where this programme carries the site identifier PLCN_MEIJER.

The phone number is the other gap. Meijer publishes no customer service number for the card on anything readable: meijer.com renders in JavaScript, and help.meijer.com is robots-blocked to automated readers. So no number is printed here. A made-up card service number is the single most dangerous thing a page like this could carry. The one on the back of your card is what Citi answers.

Questions people ask

Who issues the Meijer credit card?

Citi Retail Services, since 24 February 2020. The announcement came from Citigroup on 28 January 2020.

Where is the Meijer credit card login?

At citiretailservices.citibankonline.com. Type the address instead of following a search result, because obsolete addresses for this card still rank.

Are the Comenity addresses for Meijer still valid?

No. d.comenity.net/ac/mcard and c.comenity.net/meijercreditcard still appear in search and neither services this programme.

Who issued the card before Citi?

Citi does not say, and no first-party document names one. The CFPB agreement listings for Comenity Bank and Comenity Capital Bank both omit Meijer, which points at Comenity without confirming it, so this page treats the predecessor as inferred.

What is the Meijer credit card phone number?

Undisclosed on readable first-party pages. No number is published, so use the one printed on the back of your card or on your statement.

What is PLCN_MEIJER?

The site identifier for the Meijer programme on the Citi Retail Services platform. It is how one retail card programme is told apart from another there.

Is meijer.com the place to sign in?

Card servicing sits on the Citi platform. The retailer's own site is a reasonable starting point, though it renders in JavaScript and could not be read here on 4 September 2026.

HelpMeLogin is an independent informational site. It is not a bank, a card issuer or a financial adviser, and it is not affiliated with Meijer, Citigroup, Citi Retail Services or Comenity Bank. Nothing here is financial advice. Your own cardholder agreement and statement govern.
