- HelpMeLogin is not ACE Elite, Pathward or ACE Cash Express. This site holds no credentials and cannot read a balance, replace a card or move money.
- Type the full sign-in path yourself. The bare domain redirects to a second brand string, which is the exact confusion a lookalike page hides behind.
- Nobody legitimate asks for a card number and security code by phone. Not a retailer, and not an agent who rang you claiming the account is frozen.
- Direct deposit makes this card a payroll target. Anyone who talks you into changing a deposit destination has taken a paycheque, not a balance.
- Check which of the three products you hold. The Flare Account and Porte are separate, and the wrong support line wastes the call.
The ACE Elite card login is at aceelitecard.com/account/login, and the programme is alive. Reading the register badly is what makes it look dead: one row for the Visa version shows Withdrawn, while an ACE Elite Prepaid Mastercard row and an ACE Elite Meta Visa row both show Active. Lined up together they describe a move from Visa to Mastercard. Pathward issues the card, and the published number is (877) 223-3341.

What you need
12 itemsHow it works
Go to the full sign-in path, not the bare domain
Typing aceelitecard.com alone produces a 302 redirect to aceeliteprepaid.com. The account opens at aceelitecard.com/account/login, and that path skips a brand change you did not ask for.
Look at the network logo before you look anything up
A Visa mark and a Mastercard mark point at different filed agreements with different programme managers. Any dispute or fee question starts there.
Read all three register rows before concluding the card is dead
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau publishes filed prepaid agreements. One ACE Elite row is marked WITHDRAWN and two are Active. A single row read alone gives the opposite answer to all three together.
Check you are not holding a different Pathward product
ACE Cash Express sells three of them. The Flare Account is a demand deposit account rather than a prepaid card, Porte is separate again, and only one is ACE Elite.
Dial on Central time
Support runs (877) 223-3341 from 8am to 10pm Central on weekdays, closing two hours earlier at weekends. An Eastern-time caller who assumes local hours gets the closing time wrong.
If something goes wrong
A search result says the ACE Elite card is withdrawn
- Cause
- That is one filed agreement out of three
- Fix
- The withdrawn row covers the Visa version, effective 2022-04-23. An ACE Elite Prepaid Mastercard row is Active from 2024-06-21, and ACE Elite Meta Visa is Active too.
aceelitecard.com took me to a differently named site
- Cause
- The bare domain 302-redirects to aceeliteprepaid.com
- Fix
- That redirect is the company's own. Use aceelitecard.com/account/login and skip the detour.
My card is a Mastercard and every guide describes a Visa
- Cause
- The guides were written against the older agreement
- Fix
- A Mastercard version has its own filed agreement, Active since 2024-06-21, with Ouro Global Inc. named as programme manager instead of Netspend.
I live in Vermont and the application will not proceed
- Cause
- Vermont residents are ineligible
- Fix
- That is a stated restriction on the programme, not a fault with your details. No workaround is published.
The support line does not recognise my card
- Cause
- It may be a Flare Account or a Porte card
- Fix
- ACE Cash Express sells three Pathward products. Only one is ACE Elite; the Flare Account is a demand deposit account, and Porte is another.
What’s fixed, and what actually varies
The bank behind the card is settled. Which agreement governs your own plastic is not.
Fixed
- Pathward, N.A. is the issuing bank on the current disclosure
- aceelitecard.com/account/login is the sign-in path
- (877) 223-3341 is the published support number
- Residents of Vermont are ineligible to open an account
- This is a General Purpose Reloadable card rather than a gift card
Varies
- Whether your card carries a Visa mark or a Mastercard mark
- Which programme manager sits behind it, Netspend or Ouro Global Inc.
- The migration schedule, which nobody has published
- Whether a search result you found describes the withdrawn agreement or a live one
Turn the card over and find the network logo. That one mark decides which of the three filed agreements is yours.
How compares
Four prepaid products, four reasons a reader lands on the wrong page.
| Chain | What the card says | Who actually holds it | Where the login is |
|---|---|---|---|
| ACE Elite | ACE Elite, Visa or Mastercard | Pathward, managed by Netspend or Ouro Global Inc. | aceelitecard.com/account/login |
| Vanilla | Vanilla, on three different products | Several banks, depending on the card | balance.vanillagift.com, gift card only |
| PNC PayCard | PNC | Unnamed; the page itself is titled Money Network | pncpaycard.com |
| EDD Card | EDD | Money Network, after Bank of America closed its version | everywherepaycard.com |
Checked against first-party disclosures and the CFPB prepaid agreement database on 4 September 2026. Filed agreements change status with no announcement to cardholders.
A regulator's database is evidence, and one row of it is not. The status you find depends entirely on which row you stopped at.
Three rows in one register, and only one of them is famous
Search this card and the alarming result surfaces first: a filed agreement titled "ACE Elite Visa Prepaid Debit Card", programme manager Netspend, marked WITHDRAWN, effective 2022-04-23. Stop reading there and the obvious conclusion is that the product is finished.
Two more rows sit in the same register at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. "ACE Elite Prepaid Mastercard", filed by Pathward with Ouro Global Inc. as programme manager, is Active, effective 2024-06-21. "ACE Elite Meta Visa", filed under MetaBank with Netspend, is Active as well, effective 2022-04-23. Line all three up and a different story appears: not a closure, but a network switch. The Visa agreement lapses, a Mastercard agreement opens two years later, and the programme carries on with a different manager behind it.
What is alive is a General Purpose Reloadable card, and that phrase carries more weight than it looks. A gift card gets bought, spent and discarded. A reloadable card takes direct deposit, tops up at an ACE Cash Express counter, and sits under the prepaid accounts rule gift cards escape. That distinction decides which protections attach when money goes missing.
Then the domain, its own small trap. Typing aceelitecard.com alone produces a 302 redirect onto aceeliteprepaid.com — a second brand string, arriving unannounced, at precisely the moment a cardholder is deciding whether the page in front of them is genuine.
Two eligibility facts finish the picture. Residents of Vermont cannot open an ACE Elite account, and that is a published restriction rather than a problem with an application. ACE Cash Express also sells two further Pathward products that get mistaken for this one constantly: the Flare Account, which is a demand deposit account, and Porte. Every ACE Elite question goes to (877) 223-3341.
Questions people ask
Is the ACE Elite card discontinued?
No. One filed agreement is marked WITHDRAWN, and two others are Active. Taken together they describe a programme moving from Visa to Mastercard.
What is the ACE Elite card login address?
aceelitecard.com/account/login. The bare domain redirects to aceeliteprepaid.com, so the full path is the cleaner route.
Who issues the ACE Elite card?
Pathward, N.A. The disclosure names it directly, along with Member FDIC status and a licence from Visa U.S.A. Inc.
Is this a gift card?
No. It is a General Purpose Reloadable card, topped up by direct deposit or at an ACE Cash Express counter, and the rules that cover it differ from a gift card's.
Why does my card say Mastercard when guides say Visa?
Because a Mastercard agreement was filed later, effective 2024-06-21, with Ouro Global Inc. managing it. Older writing describes what preceded it.
Can I open an account in Vermont?
No. Vermont residents are ineligible. The restriction is stated by the programme, and no exception is published.
What is the ACE Elite customer service number?
(877) 223-3341, open 8am to 10pm Central on weekdays and 8am to 8pm Central at weekends.
How is this different from the Flare Account or Porte?
Three products from the same bank, sold in the same shops. The Flare Account is a demand deposit account, and Porte is neither of the other two.
