- HelpMeLogin is not Chase. This site holds no credentials, takes no payments and cannot see an account.
- A page that offers to sign you up is not the page that signs you in. Read the hostname before typing anything, because the two look alike and only one of them is your account.
- Nobody legitimate rings and asks for a one-time passcode. Card service answers on 1-800-432-3117 when the call goes in the other direction.
- Do not chase a customer service page that has gone. One obvious address returns 404, and a search result promising a Chase support number is worth checking against the bank's own page.
The Chase credit cards login is secure.chase.com. creditcards.chase.com is a different site with a different job: it is the card shop, showing offers and applications, and it publishes no phone number at all. Its only account feature is a link labelled "Sign in — Opens Chase account sign in within a new window". JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. holds the accounts, and card service is 1-800-432-3117.

What you need
9 itemsHow it works
Check the hostname before you check the page
Two Chase hosts sit one word apart. secure.chase.com is the account. creditcards.chase.com sells cards, and it is where readers arriving to pay a bill mostly end up.
Follow the shop's own sign in link if you land there
The card shop carries a link reading "Sign in — Opens Chase account sign in within a new window". It opens a new window rather than switching the page, which is why some readers assume nothing happened.
Take the phone number from the bank's service page
chase.com/digital/customer-service publishes "Card Customer Service: 1-800-432-3117". The card shop publishes nothing at all, so a number found next to an offer did not come from there.
Ignore the customer service URL that guides still print
chase.com/personal/credit-cards/customer-service answers with a 404. An address that returns nothing is not a place to send anybody.
If something goes wrong
I went to pay a bill and ended up looking at card offers
- Cause
- You landed on the acquisition site
- Fix
- creditcards.chase.com is the shop. Nothing there takes a payment. The account lives at secure.chase.com.
I clicked sign in and the page did not change
- Cause
- The link opens a new window
- Fix
- Its label says so: "Sign in — Opens Chase account sign in within a new window". Check behind the current tab before clicking again.
I cannot find a phone number on the card page
- Cause
- That site publishes none
- Fix
- Card Customer Service is 1-800-432-3117, published at chase.com/digital/customer-service rather than on the card shop.
A guide sent me to a Chase customer service page that will not load
- Cause
- The address is dead
- Fix
- chase.com/personal/credit-cards/customer-service returns 404. The digital customer service page is the one that answers.
I am not sure whether my card is a Chase card at all
- Cause
- Co-branded cards carry a retailer's name
- Fix
- The issuer is printed on the back and on the statement. If it names JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. then secure.chase.com is your sign-in.
What’s fixed, and what actually varies
One bank, two hosts, and a persistent habit of guides naming the wrong one.
Fixed
- JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. holds the accounts
- secure.chase.com is the account sign-in
- creditcards.chase.com is an acquisition site with no phone number
- 1-800-432-3117 is the published Card Customer Service line
Varies
- Which host a search result drops you on
- Whether the sign in link opens in the same window or a new one
- What a page titled customer service actually contains, since one such address is a 404
Read the part of the address before the first dot. Secure means account; creditcards means catalogue.
How compares
Four issuers, and the same question each time: which hostname holds the account?
| Chain | What the card says | Who actually holds it | Where the login is |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chase Credit Cards | Chase | JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. | secure.chase.com, never the card shop |
| Citi Cards | Citi | Citibank, N.A. | online.citi.com/US/ag/sign-on |
| American Express | American Express | American Express National Bank | americanexpress.com/en-us/account/login |
| Discover | Discover | Discover, with some accounts moved to Capital One | Two live portals during a staggered migration |
Host behaviour and published numbers checked on 8 September 2026. A 404 on one page says nothing about the others.
Every one of these brands runs its shop and its bank on separate hostnames. Reading the hostname is faster than reading the page.
Two hostnames, one word apart, doing opposite jobs
The legacy post this replaces treated creditcards.chase.com as the account site. It is not. On 8 September 2026 that host was live and canonical to itself, and what it contains is a card catalogue: offers, comparison tables, application forms. The bank runs it to acquire customers. Nothing on it accepts a payment.
The confusion has a specific cause. The shop does carry a sign-in affordance, a single link whose label reads "Sign in — Opens Chase account sign in within a new window", and that is enough to convince a reader standing in a car park with a statement in one hand that they are already in the right building. The link then opens a separate window, so somebody who does not notice concludes the click failed and tries again.
Where the account actually lives is secure.chase.com. Same bank, JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., and no migration is involved. This is a page about which door, not about who owns the house.
The telephone number is worth stating carefully, because the shop publishes none whatsoever. The bank publishes one on chase.com/digital/customer-service, quoted there as "Card Customer Service: 1-800-432-3117". A number that turns up beside a credit card offer did not come from either page.
One more address deserves burying. chase.com/personal/credit-cards/customer-service returns a 404. It looks exactly like the sort of URL a support page would use, which is presumably why it keeps being printed, and it leads nowhere at all. Anybody writing down a Chase contact route should copy the digital customer service address instead.
The practical version of all this fits in a sentence. If the page is selling you a card, you are in the shop; if it is asking who you are, you are at the bank.
Questions people ask
Where is the Chase credit cards login?
secure.chase.com. The card site at creditcards.chase.com only links to it.
Can I pay my bill on creditcards.chase.com?
No. That host is an acquisition site showing offers and applications, and nothing on it accepts a payment.
What is the Chase card customer service number?
1-800-432-3117, published by the bank as "Card Customer Service" on chase.com/digital/customer-service.
Why does creditcards.chase.com have no phone number?
It is a marketing site. The bank keeps its contact routes on the service pages instead.
Has Chase changed banks or issuers?
No. JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. holds these accounts, and this page is about which hostname to use.
Why does the sign in link open a new window?
Because it is built that way, and its own label says so. Look behind the current tab if the page appears not to have moved.
Is chase.com/personal/credit-cards/customer-service a real page?
It returns 404. Use the digital customer service page, which is where the card number is published.
