Academy Sports Credit Card Login — Now myAcademy Rewards

Before you sign in to a myAcademy Rewards account
  • HelpMeLogin is not a bank and holds no accounts. This site cannot see a balance, take a payment or reset a password.
  • Type d.comenity.net/ac/academy/public/home rather than searching for it. A renamed programme is a gift to lookalike domains, because nobody yet knows what the right page looks like.
  • A rename is not a reason to re-enter your card number anywhere. No issuer needs you to re-register or confirm details by email or text.
  • Reach the account from the card in your hand. The numbers on the back and on your statement route to people who can see it. A number in a search advert may not.

The Academy Sports credit card login is unchanged at d.comenity.net/ac/academy/public/home, but the programme around it carries a new name. Bread Financial and the retailer launched the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card on 20 March 2026, and the retailer's help page says an "existing Academy Sports + Outdoors Credit Card account has been transitioned to the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card". No bank changed hands. The issuer was and remains Comenity Capital Bank. Store card service is 1-800-304-8710.

How it works

  1. Believe the agreement over the marketing page

Academy's marketing copy says the cards are "offered by Comenity Bank". The binding agreement at c.comenity.net/legaldocs/myacademy/legal-documents/cca names Comenity Capital Bank of Salt Lake City, Utah. Two chartered banks sit under Bread Financial. One holds this account.

  2. Sign in at the address the retailer links

That is d.comenity.net/ac/academy/public/home. Type it. Old credentials still work, because the help page at academy.com/help/myacademy-rewards-credit-card says the existing account was transitioned rather than replaced.

  3. Match the phone number to the card in your hand

Each of the three products has its own line. Store card holders ring 1-800-304-8710. The myAcademy Rewards Mastercard is 1-800-217-8071, the myAcademy Rewards World Mastercard is 1-800-217-8904, and TDD/TTY runs on 1-888-819-1918.

  4. Use EasyPay when a payment is the only thing you need

d.comenity.net/easypay/myacademy/find-account takes a payment without a sign-in. That is the quickest route on a due date when a password reset is in the way.

  5. Post cheques to Columbus, not to Utah

Send them to Comenity Capital Bank, PO Box 183003, Columbus, OH 43218-3003. The bank is chartered in Salt Lake City and banks cheques in Ohio, which looks wrong and is not.

If something goes wrong

My card says Academy Sports + Outdoors and the website says myAcademy Rewards

Cause
The programme was renamed on 20 March 2026 and cards are replaced over time
Fix
Sign in as normal. The help page states the existing account was transitioned to the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card, so one account carries both names.

Comenity Bank's site cannot find my account

Cause
This card is issued by Comenity Capital Bank, a different chartered bank
Fix
Use the Academy path above. That marketing wording, "offered by Comenity Bank", is what sends people to the wrong entity.

The phone line does not recognise my account number

Cause
Each product has its own service line
Fix
1-800-304-8710 is the store card. Mastercard holders need 1-800-217-8071, and the World Mastercard runs on 1-800-217-8904.

My old comenity.net/academy bookmark opens fine, so nothing changed

Cause
The legacy address still resolves and carries no rename notice
Fix
Resolving is not the same as current. Replace it with d.comenity.net/ac/academy/public/home.

I want the date my account moved to the new programme

Cause
Neither the retailer nor the bank publishes one
Fix
20 March 2026 is the launch date of the programme, not a cut-over for individual accounts. No first-party page read on 8 September 2026 gives one.

A posted payment has not been credited

Cause
It may be sitting at the wrong address
Fix
Cheques go to PO Box 183003, Columbus, OH 43218-3003. Ring the line for your product before you stop the cheque.

What’s fixed, and what actually varies

Four things are settled here. Another three genuinely are not.

Fixed

  • Comenity Capital Bank issues every card in this programme
  • d.comenity.net/ac/academy/public/home is the sign-in address
  • The rename created no new account and required no new registration
  • TDD/TTY runs on 1-888-819-1918 across all three products

Varies

  • Whether the plastic in your wallet says myAcademy Rewards Credit Card or Academy Sports + Outdoors Credit Card
  • Which service number reaches somebody who can see your account
  • The date your own account moved onto the new programme, which nobody publishes

Your statement settles it. Whichever entity bills you and answers the phone is holding the account, and here every route ends at Comenity Capital Bank.

How compares

Four store cards. The name on the front tells you little about any of them.

Comenity Bank and Comenity Capital Bank are separate chartered banks. Your agreement names the one holding your account.

Three of these four sit with Comenity Capital Bank and one with Comenity Bank, so a search for the wrong entity returns a real bank and none of your details.

A new name on the plastic, the same bank behind it

The post this page replaces was written when the card was called the Academy Sports + Outdoors Credit Card. It gave a number and an address, and both still work. What it could not say is that the programme now goes by something else.

On 20 March 2026 the Bread Financial newsroom announced the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card and an enhanced loyalty programme alongside it. The retailer's help page at academy.com/help/myacademy-rewards-credit-card puts the consequence in one line: an "existing Academy Sports + Outdoors Credit Card account has been transitioned to the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card". The name now covers three products, a store account plus the myAcademy Rewards Mastercard and the myAcademy Rewards World Mastercard.

The word doing the work there is transitioned. The same bank issued the old card and issues the new one, the sign-in host has not moved, and a payment made last month landed in exactly the place next month's payment will land. That matters because a rename and a bank change ask completely different things of a cardholder, and only one of them kills your credentials.

Which brings up the trap. Academy's marketing page says the cards are "offered by Comenity Bank". The agreement printed in September 2026, at c.comenity.net/legaldocs/myacademy/legal-documents/cca, names Comenity Capital Bank of Salt Lake City, Utah. Both are real banks under Bread Financial. Only one can see your balance, and a letter posted to the other is a letter nobody answers.

The second trap is quieter. Old comenity.net/academy addresses still resolve, so a bookmark saved two years ago opens something that looks entirely correct and gives no hint the programme was renamed underneath it. Nothing breaks. You simply never find out.

One gap deserves naming. No first-party page says when an individual account moved across, and 20 March 2026 is a launch date rather than a switchover day for your card.

Questions people ask

Who issues the Academy Sports credit card?

The issuer is Comenity Capital Bank of Salt Lake City, Utah, part of Bread Financial. The current agreement, printed September 2026, names it directly.

Is the Academy card the same as the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card?

Yes. The retailer's help page says an existing Academy Sports + Outdoors Credit Card account has been transitioned to the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card.

Did the bank change when the programme was renamed?

No. The same bank held the card before 20 March 2026 and holds it now, and neither the sign-in nor the payment routing moved.

Where is the login?

d.comenity.net/ac/academy/public/home. EasyPay at d.comenity.net/easypay/myacademy/find-account takes a payment without signing in.

Why does Academy's own page say Comenity Bank?

Its marketing copy uses that wording and the binding agreement does not. Those are separately chartered banks, and this programme sits with Comenity Capital Bank.

What is the phone number?

Store card 1-800-304-8710, Mastercard 1-800-217-8071, World Mastercard 1-800-217-8904. TDD/TTY is 1-888-819-1918, and the retailer also prints (877) 321-8509.

Where do I post a payment?

PO Box 183003, Columbus, OH 43218-3003. The bank is chartered in Utah and banks cheques in Ohio.

When did my account move to myAcademy Rewards?

Undisclosed. The 20 March 2026 date is the programme launch, and no first-party source read on 8 September 2026 gives a per-account date.
