- No legitimate employer portal charges a fee to show you your own pay records.
- Do not use a pay stub generator. These searches attract companies selling fabricated documents, several pitching the product inside what reads as a how-to guide. Submitting one for a rental application is fraud.
The Target employee login splits team member information across four systems, and almost every complaint traces back to being in the wrong one. MyTime at mytime.target.com handles scheduling. Workday, at wd5.myworkday.com/target, holds pay. TargetPayandBenefits covers benefits and the 401(k). Paperless Employee holds tax forms. You sign in with a Team Member Number rather than an email address — and Target's own pages give two different lengths for that number.

This saves more time than everything else here. Schedule or punch means MyTime. Pay stub means Workday. Benefits or 401(k) means TargetPayandBenefits. W-2 means Paperless Employee. Four systems, one employer, and the credentials overlap enough to make a wrong turn look like a broken login.
Sign in at mytime.target.com with your Team Member Number
Printed on your pay stub and your discount card. Not an email address. First-time users click New Users and verify with a birthdate and the last four digits of a Social Security number to create a TEID login.
Try the number at both lengths if it is rejected
Target's own Team Member Services page describes creating a Paperless Employee account with a 10-digit team member number. The 8-digit figure traces to team members describing MyTime in a staff forum; six third-party guides checked in August 2026 name no digit count at all. If one is rejected, try it padded with leading zeros.
Reach Workday from MyTime for pay
From MyTime you connect through to Workday at wd5.myworkday.com/target, where the Pay section holds your stubs. Records appear one to two days before payday, so a missing stub on payday morning usually means it has not posted.
For tax forms, current staff go through Workday
For current staff the route is Workday, then Menu, then Tax Forms, ending at Paperless Employee. Many guides describe this as sitting under External Links. Former team members do the opposite and go straight to paperlessemployee.com/target.

That line is named on Target's own page for anything HR-related, including lockouts and W-2 access. Benefits go to 800-828-5850. Both beat working through a search result.

If a login fails, check which system you are on before assuming the credentials are wrong. The commonest version is someone looking for a pay stub inside MyTime — it is in Workday, and no password reset changes that.

Portal addresses and access rules are set by each employer and change without notice.
Walmart runs one portal and Kroger runs three on one login. Target runs four, the most fragmented of the group — but it is the only one where former employees get a genuinely independent route, since paperlessemployee.com/target works with no Workday access at all.
Four systems, and Target's own page disagrees with the guides
Target is not badly run, but it asks team members to hold four addresses in their head, and the boundaries are not obvious. Someone wanting a pay stub opens the portal they use weekly for their schedule, finds nothing, and concludes their access is broken. It is not: the stub is one system across, in Workday.
What makes this page worth writing is that Target's own Team Member Services listing, checked on 19 August 2026, does not match the guides. Three specifics.
First, the tax-form path: Target gives it as Workday, then Menu, then Tax Forms. Most guides put it under External Links. Second, the identifier: Target describes a Paperless Employee account created with a 10-digit team member number, while 8 digits is the figure every guide quotes for MyTime. Both are in print, so if one length is rejected, try the other. Third, and least reported anywhere: Target states that free electronic access to your W-2 runs through October 15 of the filing year, and that fees apply after that date.
That last one is the sort of thing that costs money quietly. A form that was free in February is not necessarily free in November.
The route also inverts at separation. Current team members are told to enter Paperless Employee through Workday; former team members go straight to paperlessemployee.com/target. So the correct answer depends on whether you still work there, which is exactly the sort of thing nobody covers on your last day. Store operations run directly from Minneapolis, Minnesota under Target Corporation, so none of this varies by location.
