On 5 January 2026 McDonald's UK launched a page inside its own menu section titled Secret Menu, carrying 6 limited-time items: a Chicken Big Mac, a Surf N' Turf, a Chicken Cheeseburger, an Espresso Milkshake, an Apple Pie Mini McFlurry and Big Mac Sauce as a dip. Ben Fox, the company's senior vice-president and chief marketing officer, described it as turning fan-favourite hacks into reality. Trade coverage dates the campaign 7 January to 2 February 2026, which does not match the newsroom date, so even the run length is disputed.
Meanwhile the McDonald's UK help page answering "Does McDonald's have a secret menu?" still says no. Both pages are live on the same domain. That is less a gotcha than the honest state of the topic: a company can sell six fan builds for a month and still not operate a hidden list.
