- HelpMeLogin is not Lowe's and is not your employer. It hosts no login form, cannot reset a password and cannot release a W-2. Only your employer can.
- HelpMeLogin is not a tax adviser. For anything beyond where the form lives, ask a qualified adviser or the IRS on 800-829-1040.
- Never enter your Social Security number on a page reached from a text message or a search ad. No legitimate portal charges you to view a W-2 already there.
- Do not fabricate a W-2. Filing a return on invented figures is a federal offence, and Form 4852 exists precisely so you don't have to.
One number does most of the work: 11116, Lowe's employer code. Former associates retrieve a Lowe's W-2 through mytaxform.com using it, with no MyLowesLife login at all. That is not folklore — Lowe's publishes the code itself, on its own Former Associate page, alongside two phone numbers. Current associates use the portal instead, under My Wealth then Payroll Services then W-2 Services, a path buried deeply enough that most assume the form is missing.
What you need
10 itemsHow to get it
Write down 11116 before you leave
Lowe's employer code on the Equifax systems, and the most useful thing to know here. With it, mytaxform.com produces your W-2 without any MyLowesLife login. Without it, you are phoning payroll in the busiest week of their year.
Check that it comes from Lowe's, not from a guide
The code circulates on dozens of third-party pages, which is a poor reason to trust it. It is also on corporate.lowes.com/formerassociate, Lowe's own site, with The Work Number on 1-877-325-9239 and Equifax on 1-888-481-5721. Checked there 19 August 2026.
Current associates: it's buried in My Wealth
Sign into MyLowesLife with your sales number, then My Wealth, then Payroll Services, then W-2 Services. It is not filed with the pay stubs under My HR, which is why people conclude it is missing.
Wait for the deadline before chasing
Employers must furnish W-2s by January 31 — Monday February 1, 2027 for the 2026 tax year, because the 31st is a Sunday. Before that date nothing has gone wrong. Allow a further 2 weeks if yours comes by post; the deadline is for sending, not arrival.
Then call the IRS, on whichever date you trust
One date, not two: the end of February. Chase the employer first, then call 800-829-1040 if the form still has not landed. Have your details, the employer's, and wages and withholding from your final pay stub. The Internal Revenue Service contacts the employer for you and requests the form, then sends Form 4852 so you can still file. Form 1040-X amends afterwards.
If something goes wrong
mytaxform.com doesn't recognise Lowe's
- Cause
- You need the employer code
- Fix
- Enter 11116. Without it the site cannot tell which employer's records to search.
I can't find the W-2 in MyLowesLife
- Cause
- It is not stored with the pay stubs
- Fix
- My Wealth, then Payroll Services, then W-2 Services. The stubs sit under My HR.
I've left and my login stopped working
- Cause
- Portal access ends after separation
- Fix
- Expected, and it does not matter. mytaxform.com with code 11116 needs no MyLowesLife credentials.
Box 1 doesn't match what I earned
- Cause
- Pre-tax deductions reduce taxable wages
- Fix
- Normal rather than an error. Box 1 is taxable pay after pre-tax items; gross is on the final pay stub.
My name or SSN is wrong on the form
- Cause
- A payroll data error
- Fix
- Store HR raises a corrected W-2c through the Associate Care Center.
It's February and nothing has arrived
- Cause
- Wrong address, or not yet sent
- Fix
- Confirm the address first. Once February has passed, call 800-829-1040 and the IRS chases the employer.
What’s fixed, and what actually varies
Lowe's runs company-operated stores, so this is consistent for every associate. The genuine variable is whether you know the code.
Fixed
- Employer code 11116 identifies Lowe's on the Equifax systems
- Former associates use mytaxform.com with that code and no portal login
- The same code produces verification letters at The Work Number
- Employers must furnish W-2s by January 31 — February 1, 2027 for tax year 2026
- Form 4852 lets you file without it; Form 1040-X amends afterwards
Varies
- How long MyLowesLife access survives after you leave
- Whether you selected electronic or postal delivery
- How quickly the Associate Care Center responds in January
- Whether a reissued paper copy carries a fee
- Which address Lowe's holds, which decides where a posted copy goes
Still at Lowe's? The route is the portal, under My Wealth rather than My HR. Left? mytaxform.com with code 11116 skips it. There is no third case.
How Lowe's compares
Against the other large retailers here, Lowe's puts everything a former employee needs on its own site.
| Chain | Where the W-2 lives | After you leave | If it never arrives |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lowe's | My Wealth → Payroll Services → W-2 Services | mytaxform.com, employer code 11116 | Same IRS route — end of February, then Form 4852 |
| Target | Workday → Menu → Tax Forms | paperlessemployee.com/target, direct | Same IRS route — end of February, then Form 4852 |
| Kroger | MyInfo — ess.kroger.com | Access disabled; HR request only | Same IRS route — end of February, then Form 4852 |
The IRS process is identical everywhere; only where the form lives differs.
Lowe's and Target both leave a former employee a route that works without a portal login, and Lowe's alone publishes the code for it on its own site. Kroger closes access and requires an HR request instead.
One number, and nobody hands it to you
Most of what makes leaving a job painful administratively is not knowing one small thing at the right moment. For Lowe's it is 11116.
The code identifies Lowe's on the Equifax systems that handle W-2 retrieval and employment verification. Enter it at mytaxform.com and the W-2 appears with no MyLowesLife login. Enter it at The Work Number and you get a verification letter for a landlord or lender. It works for years after you leave and takes five minutes.
What makes it usable rather than rumour is that Lowe's publishes it. Checked on 19 August 2026, corporate.lowes.com/formerassociate carries the code, the mytaxform.com address, The Work Number on 1-877-325-9239 and an Equifax line on 1-888-481-5721. That page also routes former associates to Workday for pay stubs, which almost nobody mentions.
None of it appears on an exit checklist. So people discover in late January that their login has expired, ring a payroll team already fielding every other former associate's identical call, and wait.
There is a sharper reason to know it. Search results for Lowe's pay records are dominated by pay stub generator companies — six of the eight leading results on the same date — selling fabricated documents and pitching them inside what reads as a how-to guide. Someone locked out and needing proof of income is exactly who that lands on. It is also the checkable kind of fraud, because Lowe's verifies through the same code.
Lowe's Companies, Inc. employs over 300,000 people from Mooresville, North Carolina. Write the number down.
Questions people ask
What is Lowe's employer code?
11116. It identifies Lowe's on the Equifax systems and retrieves your W-2 at mytaxform.com with no portal login.
Is that code actually published by Lowe's?
Yes. corporate.lowes.com/formerassociate carries it, with The Work Number on 1-877-325-9239 and Equifax on 1-888-481-5721. Checked 19 August 2026.
Where is the W-2 while I still work there?
My Wealth, then Payroll Services, then W-2 Services. Not with the pay stubs under My HR.
Can I get proof of income after leaving?
Yes — The Work Number uses the same code, 11116, and issues employment and income verification letters that landlords and lenders generally accept.
When must the W-2 be sent?
By January 31 — Monday February 1, 2027 for tax year 2026, since the 31st is a Sunday. Federal law, not company policy. Allow two more weeks if it comes by post.
What if it never arrives?
The end of February is the date, and Topic no. 154 carries the wording. Ask the employer first; if nothing arrives by then, 800-829-1040 puts it with the IRS, which contacts the employer and requests the form.
Can I file without it?
Yes. Form 4852 is the IRS substitute, built from your final pay stub. Form 1040-X amends the return if the real form later differs.
