Every guide to the Lowe's survey, including an earlier version of this page, says that finishing it does not enter you in the draw. The official rules for the 2026/2027 period say the opposite: once the survey has been completed, you automatically receive one entry. The same document sets five winners a month at $500 each, paid by check rather than a Lowe's gift card, and limits you to one entry per person per month.

How to take the survey
Find the 18-digit survey ID
Numeric, near the bottom of the receipt, labelled Survey ID or ID Number. Pro, commercial, curbside and pickup tickets often carry no invitation at all.
Count seven calendar days from the receipt date
The rules are exact: entries must be made within 7 calendar days of the receipt date. The clock starts at purchase, not when you open the page.
Type Lowes.com/Survey into the address bar
Type it rather than clicking a search result — the first page of results here is almost entirely unofficial. Guides consistently name Medallia as the platform, so a handover partway through is expected.
Answer the questions
Product availability, store cleanliness, whether an associate was easy to find, and the checkout. Under ten minutes, in English or Spanish.
Supply the contact details when asked
This is where the old advice was half right. Entry is automatic on completion, but the rules separately require all requested information and disqualify incomplete entries.
Wait for the monthly drawing
Five winners are drawn each month and paid $500 by check. Notification goes to the address supplied, so use an inbox you read.

I finished the survey and never heard anything

How Lowe's compares
Against the other retail surveys here, Lowe's comes out better than its reputation, which rested on the wrong numbers.

Prizes change between program years; the rules linked from the survey override this table.
Kroger's 50 fuel points come from every guide and from no Kroger page, and no draw there is documented at all. Lowe's and Aldi are both draw-only, and Lowe's is the clearer: five prizes of $500 a month, written down, against an Aldi winner count its own rules put at 26.
Where “the survey doesn’t enter you” came from
The claim that completing the Lowe's survey leaves you outside the draw is repeated almost everywhere, and this site repeated it too. What settles it is the sweepstakes rules served for the survey, titled Lowe's 2026/2027 Customer Satisfaction Monthly $500 Survey Sweepstakes. They read: “No matter which entry process is selected, once the survey has been completed, you will automatically receive one (1) entry into the corresponding monthly Sweepstakes.” No separate opt-in step appears anywhere in the document.
Two things probably produced the confusion. The form does ask for a name, phone number and email before it ends, and the same rules require all requested information and disqualify incomplete entries — so walking away at the contact screen still costs the entry, even though the entry is not a separate button. Rules are rewritten every program year, and earlier years may have worked differently.
Two other circulating figures are wrong for this period. The prize is five awards of $500 a month rather than one, as a check rather than a Lowe's gift card: a guide modified in August 2025 still describes a single gift card, one modified in July 2026 has the check. The limit is one entry per person or email address per month, with one prize per household across a period running to 29 January 2027.
