Decide which of the three you actually need
The whole confusion in one step. Pay stub or W-2 means paystubportal.com/dollargeneral. Company news or schedules means Workvivo. websso.dolgen.net is the gateway some stores route through. Guides present these interchangeably because all three get called DGME internally.
Expect a Money Network portal, not a Dollar General one
Checked on 19 August 2026, paystubportal.com/dollargeneral presents as Money Network's Pay Stub Portal, asking for a User ID and Password. That is not a wrong turn. It also explains why the Money Network card route works for people who cannot get into anything else.
Register, or re-register, before trying to log in
The portal currently carries a notice that all employees must re-register to access the updated Pay Stub Portal, using Register Now. An old User ID failing is expected rather than a fault. Registration asks for the 7-digit Employee ID — which only your store manager can issue — plus legal name, date of birth and the last four of a Social Security number.
Type the address rather than searching

- Wait roughly 15 minutes, and use Forgot Password rather than guessing. Persistent lockouts go to your store manager.
No pay stub on payday

- Check again after 10am. Stubs normally post 2 to 3 days ahead, so payday-morning absence is usually timing.
I left and can't reach my W-2

- If you were paid on a Money Network card, use that portal. Otherwise ask your store manager to have the form re-sent, and check the address held on file first.

Walmart publishes one portal clearly. Target runs four but documents the boundaries on its own site. Dollar General runs three and publishes almost nothing findable, which is why the pages ranking for DGME are third parties guessing.
Nobody official is writing about this
