HAPO Login — the Payment Center Charges $9, Banking Does Not

Two doors into the same loan, and they do not cost the same
  • HelpMeLogin is not HAPO Community Credit Union. This site holds no credentials, takes no payments and cannot see a loan balance.
  • Check which route a payment page is using before you confirm it. One carries a $9 charge for a single payment and the other does not.
  • A routing number is public; your account number is not. 325181264 is printed by the credit union itself, and nobody legitimate needs the rest of your details by phone.
  • Two of the credit union's own contact pages return 404. A number found through a search result may not be the credit union's, so use the one published on a page that loads.

The HAPO login is hapo.org/redirects/hapomainsignin, and the credit union runs two payment routes that are not equivalent. Online Banking is free. The Web Payment Center, built for paying "with funds from another financial institution", charges $9 for a one-time payment, while recurring payments from a checking or savings account cost nothing. Mortgage and home-equity payments are no longer accepted there. The published number is 509-943-5676.

HAPO Online Banking sign-in →The first-party Online Banking sign-in, which is the free route for members paying from a HAPO account. HelpMeLogin is independent and is not affiliated with HAPO Community Credit Union.

How it works

  1. Work out where the money is coming from

A payment funded from a HAPO account goes through Online Banking. A payment funded from an outside bank is what the Web Payment Center exists for, and that is the route carrying the charge.

  2. Sign in at the redirect the credit union publishes

hapo.org/redirects/hapomainsignin is the Online Banking entry point. Everything free happens behind it, including loan payments funded from a HAPO account.

  3. Read the fee before confirming a one-off payment

The Payment Center charges $9 for a single payment. Setting the same payment up as a recurring transfer from a checking or savings account is stated as free, and card payments carry no fee either.

  4. Send mortgage payments the other way

The credit union now states that mortgage and home-equity payments are not accepted through the Payment Center. An old bookmark pointing there will not work for those loans.

If something goes wrong

I was charged $9 for paying my car loan

Cause
The payment went through the Web Payment Center
Fix
That fee applies to a one-time payment made with funds from another financial institution. A recurring payment from a checking or savings account is stated as free.

The Payment Center will not accept my mortgage payment

Cause
Mortgages were removed from it
Fix
HAPO states that mortgage and home-equity payments no longer go through that route. Use Online Banking instead.

hapo.org/contact-us gives me an error

Cause
That page returns 404
Fix
So does hapo.org/about-us/contact. The number published on pages that do load is 509-943-5676.

I cannot find a toll-free number anywhere

Cause
None is published
Fix
No 800-number appears on any readable page. Anything a directory offers as a HAPO freephone line did not come from the credit union.

My outside bank needs a routing number

Cause
It is published, and easy to miss
Fix
The routing number is 325181264, and the mailing address is 601 Williams Blvd., Richland, WA 99354.

What’s fixed, and what actually varies

One credit union, one member, and two payment routes with different prices and different eligibility.

Fixed

  • HAPO Community Credit Union holds the accounts, from 601 Williams Blvd., Richland, WA 99354
  • hapo.org/redirects/hapomainsignin is the Online Banking sign-in
  • 509-943-5676 is the published telephone number
  • The routing number is 325181264

Varies

  • Which loan types the Payment Center will accept, since mortgages were removed
  • Whether a payment costs $9 or nothing, depending on the route and the frequency
  • Whether a contact page loads at all, because two of them return 404

Look at the funding account. Outside bank means the Payment Center; a HAPO account means Online Banking.

How compares

Four lenders and servicers where the route you take changes what happens.

ChainWhat the brand saysWho actually holds itWhere the login is
HAPOHAPOHAPO Community Credit Union, Richland, Washingtonhapo.org/redirects/hapomainsignin
ACI PaymentsACI PaymentsThe same company that traded as Official PaymentsA processor site, not a lender's account

Community Bank N.A.Community BankCommunity Bank N.A.Three hostnames and one silent redirect

Fees, wording and the 404 responses read from the credit union's own pages on 8 September 2026. Fees change without notice.

The account is the same either way. The route decides the price, and only one of the two routes says so up front.

Same loan, same member, two prices

A credit union with a single loan account can still have two front doors, and HAPO does. Online Banking sits behind hapo.org/redirects/hapomainsignin and costs nothing to use. The Web Payment Center is a separate thing entirely, and the credit union describes its purpose in one sentence: "Use the Payment Center to make eligible HAPO loan and credit card payments with funds from another financial institution."

That phrase is doing the work. The Payment Center exists for money arriving from outside, and it charges $9 for a one-time payment. Set the same payment up as a recurring transfer from a checking or savings account and the fee disappears, and credit card payments carry no fee either. So an identical amount, moving to an identical loan, costs different sums depending on which page you started from and how often you repeat it.

The second finding is a route that closed. Mortgage and home-equity payments are no longer accepted through the Payment Center, and must go through Online Banking. Anybody with a bookmark from a couple of years ago will find that route simply refuses the loan they are trying to pay, without anything explaining why.

Nothing here has been rebranded. The credit union is still HAPO Community Credit Union, still in Richland, Washington, still running the tagline "HAPO Community Credit Union – Bank on More" on its own site. Members sometimes arrive expecting a merger story, because that is what most search results about credit unions turn out to be. There is not one.

What is missing is a freephone line. Two contact pages, hapo.org/contact-us and the about-us variant, both return 404, and no 800-number appears anywhere that does load. The number that is published is 509-943-5676. Post goes to 601 Williams Blvd., Richland, WA 99354, and the routing number members keep needing is 325181264.
