Kohl’s Card Login — mykohlscard.com Now Lands on Capital One

Before you sign in to a Kohl's card account
  • HelpMeLogin is not a bank and holds no accounts. This site cannot see a balance, take a payment or reset a password.
  • A redirect that works is still a move. A bookmark opening normally is no evidence that nothing changed; on 8 September 2026 it was handing you to a different platform.
  • Nobody publishes a Kohl's-specific service number. Use the number on the back of the card or on your statement, never one from a search advert.
  • Type kohls.capitalone.com yourself. Four hostnames now point at one destination, which is exactly the confusion a lookalike domain feeds on.

The Kohl's card login is kohls.capitalone.com. Checked on 8 September 2026, mykohlscard.com returned a 302 redirect straight there, and the retailer's own card page now sends "Pay My Bill & Manage My Kohl's Card" to the same address. No bank changed hands. Capital One, N.A. has held these accounts since 2011. What moved is the servicing portal, and the sign-in waiting there expects Capital One credentials rather than the old Kohl's ones.

How it works

  1. Delete the old bookmark, even though it works

mykohlscard.com still opens. That is the problem. It answers with a 302 to kohls.capitalone.com and gives no notice that the account has been serviced somewhere else since a date neither company has published.

  2. Sign in with Capital One credentials

The form at kohls.capitalone.com resolves to verified.capitalone.com/auth/signin?relationshipId=167. A username kept from the Kohl's-branded portal is not what that page asks for, so register or recover through Capital One.

  3. Check which of the two cards you hold

A Kohl's Card works in store. The Kohl's Rewards Visa spends anywhere Visa Inc. is accepted, and each has its own agreement, so terms quoted for one do not describe the other.

  4. Reach the phone from the card, not from a search

No Kohl's-specific service line is published anywhere first-party, and kohls.capitalone.com/contact-us returned 404 when checked. The number on the back of your card routes correctly; the issuer's general lines are 1-800-CAPITAL (227-4825) and 1-866-750-0873.

  5. Take the payment address off your statement

No mailing address could be read from a first-party source on 8 September 2026; the agreement PDFs refused automated retrieval. Your statement carries one.

If something goes wrong

My mykohlscard.com bookmark opens, so surely nothing changed

Cause
The host answers with a 302 to kohls.capitalone.com and posts no notice
Fix
Resolving is not the same as serving. Verified on 8 September 2026, that address hands you to Capital One's platform.

My old Kohl's username and password are rejected

Cause
Servicing sits on Capital One's platform now, which keeps its own credentials
Fix
Register or recover at kohls.capitalone.com, which resolves to verified.capitalone.com. That is the account the password must match.

credit.kohls.com does not look like a Kohl's page any more

Cause
It redirects, along with kohlscreditcard.capitalone.com
Fix
Both land on kohls.capitalone.com. One destination, several doors, and only the destination matters.

I cannot find a phone number for the Kohl's card

Cause
Nobody publishes one, and kohls.capitalone.com/contact-us returned 404 on 8 September 2026
Fix
Ring the number printed on the back of your card or on your statement. Failing that, the issuer's published lines are 1-800-CAPITAL (227-4825) and 1-866-750-0873.

I want the address to post a cheque to

Cause
The Kohl's agreement PDFs refused automated retrieval on 8 September 2026
Fix
That is a fetch failure, not an absence. Read the payment address off your own statement.

I want to know exactly when servicing moved

Cause
No first-party page states a date
Fix
Treat it as undisclosed. Kohl's dates the partnership to 2011 and an extension to 18 March 2022, and neither of those is the portal move.

What’s fixed, and what actually varies

Two things here are certain. A third is genuinely unknown.

Fixed

  • Capital One, N.A. issues both Kohl's cards under licence from Visa Inc.
  • kohls.capitalone.com is where every current address ends up
  • mykohlscard.com, credit.kohls.com and kohlscreditcard.capitalone.com all redirect rather than serve
  • Neither company publishes a Kohl's-only telephone number

Varies

  • Whether you hold the store Kohl's Card or the Kohl's Rewards Visa
  • Whether your saved login predates the portal move
  • The exact date servicing left the Kohl's-branded portal, which nobody states

Open kohls.capitalone.com and watch the address bar. It hands off to verified.capitalone.com, which is the platform your account is actually kept on.

How compares

Three different things happen to store cards, and they get muddled constantly.

ChainWhat the card saysWho actually holds itWhere the login is
Kohl'sKohl's Card, or Kohl's Rewards VisaCapital One, N.A. since 2011, with no bank changekohls.capitalone.com, after a portal move with no published date
Academy SportsmyAcademy Rewards, formerly Academy Sports + OutdoorsComenity Capital Bank, with no bank changeUnmoved. A rename put a new name on the same portal
WalmartA Walmart-branded cardThree issuers in six years, which is a real bank changeWherever the current issuer keeps it
DiscoverDiscover cardCapital One, mid-migration and account by accountTwo portals live at once, with no published cutover

A rename changes the wording. A portal move changes the address and the credentials. An issuer change moves the debt itself.

Kohl's is the middle case, and it is the quietest of the three, because a redirect that works looks exactly like nothing having happened.

The bank stayed. The address did not.

Two posts used to cover this account, one about the Kohl's Charge and one about mykohlscard.com, and both told readers to sign in at a portal that no longer serves anything. Both were accurate when written. The address simply stopped being a destination.

Here is what a check on 8 September 2026 found. mykohlscard.com answers with a 302 redirect to kohls.capitalone.com. So do credit.kohls.com and kohlscreditcard.capitalone.com. On the retailer's side, kohls.com/feature/kohls-card.jsp now points its "Pay My Bill & Manage My Kohl's Card" link at the same Capital One host. The form itself resolves one hop further, to verified.capitalone.com/auth/signin?relationshipId=167.

None of that is a bank change, and the distinction matters more than it sounds. Capital One, N.A. has issued these cards since 2011, offering the Kohl's Rewards Visa under licence from Visa Inc., and the retailer's own newsroom records an extension of the arrangement on 18 March 2022. The debt did not move. The servicing address did, which is the quiet kind of change: no letter arrives, no error appears, and a saved bookmark keeps opening.

That is precisely why people get stuck. Someone types the address they have used for years, watches a page load, and never notices the domain in the bar has changed. Then a password that used to work does not, and the obvious conclusion is fraud or a lockout rather than a platform they were moved onto without being told.

No date for the move is published by either company. Write it down as undisclosed and stop looking: a plausible year invented to fill the gap is worse than the gap.

One more absence is worth naming. No Kohl's-specific telephone number appears in first-party material, and kohls.capitalone.com/contact-us returned 404 when checked. The back of the card is the reliable route; 1-800-CAPITAL (227-4825) and 1-866-750-0873 are the issuer's general lines.

Questions people ask

Who issues the Kohl's Card?

Capital One, N.A. Its own product page states that the Kohl's Rewards Visa and services are offered by Capital One, N.A. under licence from Visa Inc.

Why does mykohlscard.com redirect?

Servicing moved to Capital One's own host. Checked on 8 September 2026, the old address returns a 302 to kohls.capitalone.com.

Did the Kohl's card change banks?

No. Capital One has held the programme since 2011, and Kohl's records an extension on 18 March 2022. Only the portal moved.

Why will my old login not work?

The form now resolves to verified.capitalone.com. A username kept from the Kohl's-branded portal is not the credential that platform holds.

When did the portal move?

Undisclosed. No date appears on either company's pages, and nothing read on 8 September 2026 supplies one.

What is the Kohl's card phone number?

There is no published Kohl's-only line, and kohls.capitalone.com/contact-us returned 404. Use the number on the back of your card; the issuer's general lines are 1-800-CAPITAL (227-4825) and 1-866-750-0873.

Is the Kohl's Rewards Visa the same account as the Kohl's Card?

No. One is a store card and the other spends anywhere Visa is accepted, and the issuer files a separate agreement for each.

Where do I post a payment?

Read it off your statement. The agreement PDFs refused automated retrieval on 8 September 2026, so none is quoted here.
