Reports of MyBKExperience not working now start before the questions do. Typed on 25 August 2026, mybkexperience.com forwards rather than loading a form, which reads as a broken link or a hijack to anyone expecting Burger King's own page. Behind that sit the real causes: a 48-hour window on the receipt, a 14-day life on the code, and a cap of one code every 30 days that guides describe wrongly as one per receipt.

What you need
9 itemsHow to take the survey
Expect the forward before you panic about it
Typing the address no longer lands you on a Burger King page. It hands you to a survey platform run by Momos, which is a supplier arrangement rather than a hijack, though it looks like one.
Check the clock on the receipt, not just the date
Receipts give 48 hours from the visit. A lunchtime slip can expire during the second evening, which is why so many codes look valid and are refused.
Count your own digits rather than trusting a guide
One widely copied article calls the survey code a 16-digit number and, a line later, a 20-digit code. Whatever is printed on your paper is the right length.
Treat an already-taken message as the 30-day cap
Only one validation code is issued every 30 days. A fresh receipt inside that period produces exactly the message people report as a bug.
Restart in another browser if the page stalls
Script blockers and strict privacy modes break survey platforms routinely, and a forwarded address gives them one more hop to interfere with. Nothing is spent until the last screen.
Write the validation code down immediately
It appears once, in session, with no email copy. A closed tab spends the receipt, and nobody at the restaurant can reissue what was never stored.
If something goes wrong
The address takes me somewhere that is not Burger King
- Cause
- mybkexperience.com forwards to the platform running the questionnaire
- Fix
- That forward is expected. Type the address rather than following a message, and never enter a card number, a Social Security number or a fee anywhere in the flow.
My code is refused and I am sure it is right
- Cause
- More than 48 hours have passed since the visit
- Fix
- Read the time on the receipt as well as the date. Nothing extends the window once it has run.
It says I have already taken the survey, on a new receipt
- Cause
- One validation code is issued every 30 days, not one per receipt
- Fix
- Wait out the period. Collecting receipts inside it changes nothing.
The digit count does not match what I read online
- Cause
- Published figures disagree, with 16 and 20 both appearing in one guide
- Fix
- Enter what is printed. A rounded character on faded thermal paper is a zero rather than a letter.
The page dies partway through the questions
- Cause
- A script blocker, a strict privacy mode, or a session that timed out on the forward
- Fix
- Start again in a different browser. No entry is spent until the final screen appears.
The cashier refused my validation code
- Cause
- A code past its 14 days, an unmet purchase condition, or the wrong restaurant
- Fix
- Codes work only where you ate and only for 14 days after you finish, and they cannot be combined with another offer.
I closed the tab before writing the code down
- Cause
- The validation code is displayed once with no email copy
- Fix
- Unrecoverable, and the receipt is spent. Your 30-day allowance is spent with it.
What’s fixed, and what actually varies
Two of the three clocks here are published by Burger King and one is printed only on paper, which is exactly why the failures are hard to tell apart.
Fixed
- A validation code is valid 14 days after completing the survey
- One validation code every 30 days, counted against the person
- Codes can only be redeemed at the restaurant you visited
- The survey offer cannot be combined with other offers
- The validation code is shown once and never emailed
Varies
- The receipt window. Receipts print 48 hours; help.bk.com names none
- The survey code length, given as 16 and 20 digits by the same source
- Whether a franchisee honours a code near the end of its 14 days
- The reward, from a Whopper to a discount, by period and store
- How the forwarded address behaves in a browser blocking scripts
Match the wording you see against the list below before retyping anything. An expired receipt, a spent monthly allowance and a blocked script all look like a broken site and none of them is.
The address changed, and the clocks did not
Something genuinely changed here, and it is the first thing anyone notices.
Typed on 25 August 2026, mybkexperience.com does not open a questionnaire. It forwards, landing on a page covering the United States and Canada surveys together, served by Momos, a guest-feedback software firm. Burger King's own help centre still names mybkexperience.com as the way in, so the address is right even though the destination looks wrong. For a topic already crowded with imitation domains, a legitimate forward is unfortunate timing, and it is worth knowing about before deciding you have been sent somewhere fraudulent.
Underneath, the causes have not moved. Three separate limits govern this survey and each produces a failure that looks like the others from the sofa.
The first is the receipt window. Forty-eight hours is printed on the paper and repeated everywhere, and it appears nowhere in Burger King's published answer, which names no deadline at all. It runs from the visit, so the hour on the receipt matters as much as the date.
The second is the code's own life. help.bk.com gives a validation code 14 days from completing the survey, not 30 days from the receipt date as a widely copied guide claims. Codes also work only at the restaurant that printed the receipt, and cannot be combined with another offer, which covers app coupons and Royal Perks alike.
The third is the monthly cap, and it is the one most often filed as a bug. One validation code every 30 days is the published limit, counted against the person rather than the paper. Somebody who eats at Burger King twice in a fortnight will meet a message saying they have already taken the survey, on a receipt that is genuinely new, and conclude the site is broken. It is doing what the help centre says it does.
Questions people ask
Why does mybkexperience.com send me somewhere else?
The questionnaire now runs on a platform operated by Momos, so the address forwards rather than serving a form itself. The help centre still gives that address as the way in.
Is the forwarded page safe to use?
It is where the official address leads. The safe habit is unchanged: type the address rather than following a link from a message, and give no card number, Social Security number or fee at any point.
Why is my code rejected when I typed it correctly?
Check the hour on the receipt. The 48-hour window runs from the visit, so a lunchtime slip can expire during the second evening.
It says I have already taken the survey. Why?
That is the 30-day cap rather than a fault. The help centre allows one validation code every 30 days, whatever the receipt count.
How many digits is the survey code?
Sources disagree, with one guide calling it 16 digits and then 20 in the same section. Enter what is printed on your own paper and read any rounded character as a zero.
The survey froze halfway. Is the receipt wasted?
No. Nothing is recorded until the validation code appears at the end, so a stalled session costs you the questions alone.
Can a lost validation code be reissued?
Nobody can reissue it. The code shows once, is never emailed and is tied to no account, and the 30-day allowance goes with it.
Why would the counter refuse a code that worked online?
Usually its 14 days have run, occasionally it is the wrong restaurant, and sometimes an offer was already applied. Only one offer goes on an order.
