Taking the Lowe's survey without receipt cannot be done, because the questionnaire opens on the survey ID printed at the bottom of the paper. The draw behind it is a different matter. Its rules carry a second entry method that asks for no receipt, no purchase and no survey at all: a hand printed card posted to Massachusetts, worth exactly one entry in that month's drawing.

What you need
10 itemsDo you still have the receipt?
Yes · No, it has gone
Is it under 7 calendar days old, with a survey invitation on it?
Yes to both · It is older than that · There is no invitation printed
How to take the survey
Check the bottom of the receipt one more time
The invitation prints near the foot of the paper with a numeric ID beneath it, sending you to Lowes.com/Survey. Where no internet address appears, the official rules simply do not describe a survey route for that ticket.
Accept that trade tickets often carry nothing
Pro and commercial receipts frequently print no invitation, and so do curbside and pickup tickets. That is not a fault to report, and no branch of the entry form covers it.
Count seven calendar days before doing anything else
The window runs from the receipt date rather than from the day you find the slip. An expired receipt is worth no more than a missing one.
Write the card instead
Complete name, street address, city, state, ZIP, age, daytime phone number and email address, hand printed on a 4 x 5 inch card, sealed in an envelope and posted to P.O. Box 0368.
Send it in the month you mean to enter
Each drawing period is closed and drawn separately, with nothing carried forward. A card that arrives late joins nothing rather than waiting for the next month.
Do not expect the loyalty account to help
MyLowe's Rewards tracks purchases and offers. It produces no survey invitation and enters you into no drawing, whatever a purchase history shows.
If something goes wrong
I threw the receipt away
- Cause
- The survey ID exists only on that slip
- Fix
- Nothing reissues it. Post a card instead, which enters the same monthly drawing for the same five prizes.
My receipt has no survey invitation on it
- Cause
- Trade and collection tickets often print none
- Fix
- The rules describe a survey for receipts carrying an internet address, and say nothing about the rest. The postal method is unaffected.
The receipt is three weeks old
- Cause
- The window is 7 calendar days from the receipt date
- Fix
- That has closed and nothing extends it. A card posted this month still enters this month's drawing.
I finished last month and heard nothing
- Cause
- Five people win each month out of a national pool
- Fix
- Silence is the normal outcome rather than evidence the entry failed. Nothing is carried forward, so enter again this month.
Can my loyalty account prove I shopped there?
- Cause
- The rewards programme is separate from the drawing
- Fix
- MyLowe's Rewards enters you into nothing and produces no survey invitation. The card route needs no proof of purchase anyway.
A page offered to run the survey for me without a receipt
- Cause
- Nothing published authorises a third party to enter on your behalf
- Fix
- Close it. Only the survey named in the rules and the postal address in them reach the administrator.
What’s fixed, and what actually varies
The published rules describe two entry methods, and only the first one has ever needed paper.
Fixed
- The online route requires a receipt carrying an internet address and an ID
- A mail-in entry on a hand printed 4 x 5 inch card requires neither
- Both routes are worth one entry per month per person or email address
- Entries must reach P.O. Box 0368, Falmouth, Massachusetts, in an envelope
- Five prizes of $500 are drawn in each period, paid by check
- The sweepstakes runs in twelve monthly entry periods, each drawn on its own
Varies
- Whether a given receipt carries the invitation at all
- The length of the survey ID, given as 18 digits by guides and by no first-party source
- Which drawing period a posted card lands in
- How quickly post reaches Massachusetts from where you live
Open the rules linked from the survey and count the entry methods. Two are described, and the second one names a card, an envelope and an address. Any page telling you a lost receipt ends the matter has read only the first.
How Lowe's compares
Three retail draws, and three different consequences for losing the paper.
| Chain | Survey without the paper | Draw without the paper | Free entry route |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lowe's | Not possible | Yes, one card a month | A 4 x 5 inch card |
| Walmart | Not possible | Yes, by post or emailed invitation | A postcard to New York |
| Aldi | Not possible | Only in a period already drawn | Documented, and expired |
Entry methods are set per promotion period. The live rules override this table.
Walmart is the most forgiving, because an online order can bring a survey invitation by email with no paper involved. Lowe's has no such third route, and its card is the whole answer. Aldi has the same card and nothing open to send it to.
Two entry methods, and only one of them has ever needed paper
The search term hides two different questions, and the disappointing answer belongs to the smaller one.
The questionnaire does need the receipt. Read on 25 August 2026, the rules describe customers who receive a cash register receipt containing an internet address, who can then complete a customer satisfaction survey online. Guides put the numeric survey ID at 18 digits, near the foot of the paper, and no first-party source states a length at all. Entry has to be made within 7 calendar days of the receipt date, so an old slip is as useless as a missing one.
That is where most write-ups stop, and it is the wrong place to stop. The same document carries a second method needing nothing from a till at all: hand print your complete name, street address, city, state, ZIP, age, daytime phone number and email address on a 4 x 5 inch card, insert it in an envelope, and post it to P.O. Box 0368, Falmouth, Massachusetts. That card is worth one entry into the month's drawing, where five prizes of $500 are awarded by check on behalf of Lowe's Companies, Inc. of Mooresville, North Carolina.
A detail here catches trade customers in particular. Pro and commercial receipts frequently carry no invitation, and nor do curbside or pickup tickets, and the rules never describe what to do about that. The postal method quietly solves it, since it asks for no receipt at all.
One limit governs both routes. A single entry per month per person or email address, regardless of the method selected, so nobody gains by holding a receipt and a stamp at once.
MyLowe's Rewards is not a way round any of this. It records purchases and enters you into nothing.
Questions people ask
Can I take the Lowe's survey with no receipt?
No. The questionnaire opens on the survey ID printed near the bottom of the receipt, and nothing reissues that number once the paper has gone.
So a lost receipt ends it?
It ends the survey, not the draw. The rules carry a second entry method that needs no receipt and enters the same monthly drawing.
What is the route that needs nothing?
A hand printed 4 x 5 inch card carrying your name, street address, city, state, ZIP, age, daytime phone number and email address, posted in an envelope to Falmouth, Massachusetts.
My receipt has no survey invitation on it. Why?
Pro and commercial tickets frequently print none, as do curbside and pickup. The official rules only describe a survey for receipts carrying an internet address.
How many digits is the survey ID?
Two guides say 18 and no first-party source states a length. Treat that figure as reported rather than confirmed, and type exactly what is printed.
Is a posted entry worth less than a completed survey?
No. Both are worth one entry per month into the same drawing for the same five prizes of $500.
How long is a receipt good for?
Seven calendar days from the receipt date, in the sponsor's own wording. The clock starts at purchase rather than when you open the page.
Does MyLowe's Rewards enter me automatically?
No. The loyalty programme is separate from the drawing and produces no survey invitation of any kind.
