- HelpMeLogin is not Shellpoint, Newrez or LoanCare. No loan is visible here, no payment can be made and no portal access can be granted.
- Three plausible-looking addresses is exactly the condition fraudsters exploit. Type shellpointmtg.com or newrez.com yourself, and reach any sign-in from the site rather than from an email.
- Confirm a payment address by phone before you send money. Payment-diversion fraud follows servicing transfers, and a borrower mid-transfer expects new instructions. Ring (800) 365-7107 or 1-888-673-5521 and ask.
- The servicing transfer letter is the document that settles which portal is yours. Keep it. No website, this one included, can tell you who subservices your particular loan.
The Shellpoint mortgage login at signin.shellpointmtg.com still works, and so does signin.newrez.com. Both belong to one company: NewRez LLC d/b/a Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing, NMLS #3013, sharing a single PO box. Newly transferred loans are routed to the Newrez side. A third address, newrez.myloancare.com, is not run by Newrez at all. myloancare.com is LoanCare's platform, and LoanCare gives each servicing client its own branded subdomain. Which portal is yours depends on who subservices your loan, and neither site says.

What you need
14 itemsHow it works
Read the footer on shellpointmtg.com
It says "NEWREZ LLC DBA, SHELLPOINT MORTGAGE SERVICING NMLS #3013." That single line answers the most common question about this brand, and it is printed on the servicer's own site.
Use the sign-in your account was actually set up on
signin.shellpointmtg.com/signin/myaccount and signin.newrez.com/signin/myaccount were both live on 4 September 2026. Nothing on the Shellpoint page warns that the brand has been folded into Newrez, so an old bookmark keeps working and tells you nothing.
Register on the Newrez side if your loan has just transferred
Shellpoint's own new-transfer section points at myaccount.newrez.com/register rather than at its own registration form. That is the servicer directing new arrivals, which is worth more than a guess.
Treat newrez.myloancare.com as a different company's portal
myloancare.com is LoanCare, LLC's borrower platform. LoanCare provisions a branded subdomain per servicing client, so the Newrez name in front of it identifies the client, not the operator.
Get the answer from the letter, not from any website
Your servicing transfer letter names the servicer, the effective date and where payments go. If it is lost, ring (800) 365-7107 or 1-888-673-5521 and ask two things: who subservices this loan, and which portal to use.
If something goes wrong
My old Shellpoint bookmark still works, so nothing has changed
- Cause
- Both brands run live sign-in pages and neither warns the other exists
- Fix
- The company is the same either way. Check your statement for the brand and number it prints, since that is what support asks for.
My newly transferred loan is not on the Shellpoint portal
- Cause
- New transfers are pointed at the Newrez side
- Fix
- Register at myaccount.newrez.com/register, which is where Shellpoint's own transfer section sends new arrivals.
newrez.myloancare.com will not accept my Newrez login
- Cause
- It is a separate platform run by LoanCare, with its own credentials
- Fix
- Registering on one does not create an account on the other. Confirm which portal your loan uses before creating more logins.
I cannot work out which portal is mine
- Cause
- It depends on who subservices that specific loan
- Fix
- HelpMeLogin cannot answer this and no website involved does either. The servicing transfer letter names it; failing that, ring (800) 365-7107 and ask.
newrez.com never mentions LoanCare, so the subdomain looks fake
- Cause
- newrez.com genuinely says nothing about LoanCare or myloancare
- Fix
- That silence is real and unhelpful, and it proves nothing either way. The subdomain follows LoanCare's documented client pattern, and the letter is what confirms yours.
The myloancare page will not render for me
- Cause
- Those hosts serve a JavaScript application
- Fix
- On 4 September 2026 the LoanCare hosts could not be read past a JavaScript shell. They were confirmed live at the host level, and no claim is made here about what the page shows.
What’s fixed, and what actually varies
One company runs two doors, and a third door belongs to somebody else entirely. Only the last part is genuinely unresolved.
Fixed
- NewRez LLC and Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing are one company under NMLS #3013
- Both share PO Box 10826, Greenville, SC 29603-0826
- Both sign-in pages were live on 4 September 2026
- myloancare.com is LoanCare's platform, not a Newrez one
Varies
- Which portal holds your loan, which depends on who subservices it
- Whether an old shellpointmtg.com bookmark still matches where your account lives
- Whether a newly transferred loan appears on the Shellpoint side at all
- Which of the two phone numbers your statement prints
The servicing transfer letter names the servicer and the portal. Nothing on shellpointmtg.com, newrez.com or myloancare.com resolves it for an individual borrower.
How compares
Four addresses that look like one brand and are operated by another.
| Chain | What the address says | Who actually runs it | What it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| newrez.myloancare.com | Newrez | LoanCare, LLC | A client-branded subservicing portal |
| Rushmore | Rushmore Servicing | Rocket Companies | A live portal linking a retired one |
| Paperless Pay | An employer name in the path | Equifax Workforce Solutions | Pay statements, one tenant per employer |
| PNC PayCard | PNC | A Money Network-branded app | A paycard PNC no longer lists |
Every row was checked on 4 September 2026. Subservicing arrangements change without the borrower's loan terms changing.
Vendor-run portals under a client's name are ordinary in this industry, and Paperless Pay shows the same pattern in payroll. What makes the mortgage version harder is that the client's own website never mentions the vendor.
The myloancare fork, and why nobody can answer it for you
Half of this page is easy. NewRez LLC does business as Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing, the shellpointmtg.com footer says so in capitals, and both brands share NMLS #3013 and a single PO box in Greenville. Two sign-in pages, one company, no mystery.
The other half is harder, and it is why the two legacy posts this page replaces were worth replacing.
myloancare.com belongs to LoanCare, LLC, a subservicer owned by Fidelity National Financial. LoanCare's model is to run the borrower-facing portal on behalf of the company whose name is on the loan, and it provisions a separate branded subdomain for each client. The pattern is visible from a first-party source with nothing to do with Newrez: Lakeview Loan Servicing routes its LoanCare-subserviced borrowers through a short link, lls.to/LV2LC, which 302-redirects to lakeviewloanservicing.myloancare.com/web/home. Client name, then myloancare.com. The same shape as newrez.myloancare.com.
So that address is a LoanCare-operated portal provisioned for a named client. It is not a website Newrez runs, and newrez.com mentions neither LoanCare nor myloancare anywhere on it.
That leaves the borrower holding a question nobody answers. Whether a given Newrez or Shellpoint loan is subserviced by LoanCare depends on that loan, and none of signin.newrez.com, signin.shellpointmtg.com or newrez.myloancare.com says which one is yours. HelpMeLogin cannot tell you either, and any page claiming to is guessing.
The document that can tell you is the servicing transfer letter. It names the servicer, the effective date, the payment address and the portal you were given. If it has gone, ring the number printed on your statement and ask who subservices the loan and which portal to use. Two questions, one call.
One caveat about method. On 4 September 2026 the LoanCare hosts returned a JavaScript shell that could not be read past. They were confirmed live at the host level, and nothing further is claimed about them.
Questions people ask
Is Shellpoint the same company as Newrez?
Yes. The shellpointmtg.com footer reads "NEWREZ LLC DBA, SHELLPOINT MORTGAGE SERVICING NMLS #3013", and both brands use PO Box 10826, Greenville, SC 29603-0826.
Which login should I use?
Whichever your account was set up on. Both signin.shellpointmtg.com and signin.newrez.com were live on 4 September 2026.
My loan just transferred. Where do I register?
At myaccount.newrez.com/register. Shellpoint's own new-transfer section points there rather than at its own form.
What is newrez.myloancare.com?
A LoanCare portal carrying a client's name. LoanCare, LLC runs myloancare.com and gives each servicing client a branded subdomain on it.
Is newrez.myloancare.com a fake site?
The subdomain pattern is LoanCare's own, visible elsewhere at lakeviewloanservicing.myloancare.com. Whether it is where your loan lives is a different question, and only your letter answers it.
How do I find out which portal is mine?
Read the servicing transfer letter, or ring (800) 365-7107 and ask who subservices the loan. No website involved states it.
What are the phone numbers?
Shellpoint publishes (800) 365-7107, Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm Eastern and Saturday 10am to 2pm Eastern. Newrez publishes 1-888-673-5521.
Where do letters and payments go?
PO Box 10826, Greenville, SC 29603-0826 is published for both brands. Confirm a payment address by phone before sending money.
