HSA Bank Login — Santander Now Holds These Deposits

Before you sign in to a bank that changed its name
  • HelpMeLogin is not HSA Bank and holds no account here. No sign-in form runs on this site and nobody here resets a password.
  • Type account.hsabank.com yourself rather than clicking a result. An ownership change is when lookalike domains appear, because a customer told the branding moved will forgive a page that looks wrong.
  • A one-time code read aloud to a caller is a login handed over. Nobody at HSA Bank or Santander needs it. Hang up, then dial 800-357-6246 from the number on your own card.
  • This is medical money and tax-advantaged money at once. An unrecognised withdrawal leaves an IRS problem as well as a loss. Report it to the Client Assistance Center.

The HSA Bank login still sits at account.hsabank.com, and it opened normally on 4 September 2026. What changed is whose bank it is. The acquisition of Webster Financial Corporation by Santander completed on 20 August 2026, and the hsabank.com footer now reads that HSA Bank is a division of Santander Bank, N.A. Plan administration stayed with Webster Servicing LLC, so both names are still correct. The deposits are Santander's now, which means FDIC coverage aggregates against Santander.

How it works

  1. Go to the sign-in address, not the marketing site

Members sign in at account.hsabank.com. The published path carries a partner parameter, account.hsabank.com/#/auth/login?partner=15, which is normal rather than a redirect through somebody else.

  2. Read the footer before you worry about the new name

The hsabank.com footer says "HSA Bank® is a division of Santander Bank, N.A., deposit accounts: FDIC-Insured". Beside it: "Plan Administrative Services and Benefit Services are administered by Webster Servicing LLC." Neither line contradicts the other.

  3. Call the number that did not change

The Client Assistance Center runs 24/7 on 800-357-6246, with 414-978-5294 for anyone outside the toll-free range. Employers and brokers get a separate pair, 866-357-5232 and 414-978-5282.

  4. Expect the account mechanics to be unchanged

The release on the completed acquisition says only that "Accounts and products can continue to be accessed and used in the same way." No new card number is announced.

  5. Work out which institution your money now sits at

Deposit insurance is calculated per depositor, per insured bank. This health savings account balance was Webster's obligation and is now Santander's, so it aggregates with other Santander deposits you hold. The FDIC publishes a calculator at fdic.gov.

If something goes wrong

The site says Santander and my paperwork says Webster

Cause
The acquisition completed on 20 August 2026 and printed material lags
Fix
Both names are current, in different roles. Santander holds the bank; Webster Servicing LLC runs plan administration.

I assumed the rebrand meant a phishing page

Cause
A sudden new bank name on a familiar site is a classic tell
Fix
Here it is genuine. Check the hsabank.com footer, then type account.hsabank.com rather than following an emailed link.

My employer's benefits portal still shows the old bank

Cause
Employer portals carry their own text and update on their own schedule
Fix
That mismatch does not affect the account. Sign in at account.hsabank.com and ring the Client Assistance Center if a balance looks wrong.

Nobody answers outside business hours

Cause
The wrong number was dialled
Fix
The Client Assistance Center is published as 24/7 on 800-357-6246. The 866-357-5232 line is business relations and keeps office hours.

I want to know what my deposits are insured for

Cause
The bank behind the deposit changed, so the aggregation changed too
Fix
HelpMeLogin publishes no coverage figure. The FDIC publishes the limit and an estimator at fdic.gov.

The sign-in URL looks odd with ?partner=15 on the end

Cause
That parameter is part of the published address
Fix
It routes sign-in to the right programme. The domain is what matters, and it reads account.hsabank.com.

What’s fixed, and what actually varies

A single thing about this account moved and almost nothing else did, which is the opposite of how an ownership change usually feels.

Fixed

  • The member sign-in address, account.hsabank.com
  • The Client Assistance Center numbers, 800-357-6246 and 414-978-5294
  • The HSA Bank name itself, which survives as a division brand
  • Webster Servicing LLC on the plan administration side

Varies

  • Which corporate name appears on your statements, which the footer change suggests is rolling through
  • Whether your employer's benefits portal has updated the bank name it displays
  • Which institution your deposits aggregate at for FDIC purposes, now Santander rather than Webster
  • Whether cards issued under the old branding get reissued, which no release states

The footer of hsabank.com is the fastest primary check, carrying the Santander line and the Webster Servicing line together. Coverage questions belong on fdic.gov.

How compares

Four accounts here where the name on the product is not the company behind it.

ShellpointShellpoint Mortgage ServicingNewRez LLC, NMLS #3013Two live logins, different jobs

Every row was checked on 4 September 2026. Where a date appears, it is the one the company published.

HSA Bank is the gentlest version of the pattern. The address held and the numbers held; only the bank underneath was swapped. The other three moved the login too, which is where people lose access.

The hsabank.com footer carries two statements that look like they cancel out. One says HSA Bank is a division of Santander Bank, N.A. The other says Plan Administrative Services and Benefit Services are administered by Webster Servicing LLC. Read together they seem to name two owners. They do not.

A health savings account has two halves. There is a deposit account, a banking product held at a chartered bank, and the plan administration wrapped around it: enrolment, employer files, substantiation of medical spending, the paperwork that makes an ordinary balance tax-advantaged. The bank was bought. The servicing company kept the Webster name. That is the whole explanation.

Timing is why it matters now. The purchase of Webster Financial Corporation was announced in February 2026 at $12.2bn and completed on 20 August 2026, roughly two weeks before this page was checked on 4 September 2026. Anyone who has not signed in since the spring meets a bank name they were not expecting, on a site they have used for years, which is the exact condition under which people abandon a legitimate login or trust an illegitimate one.

None of the mechanics moved. The release says only that "Accounts and products can continue to be accessed and used in the same way", and account.hsabank.com resolved normally on 4 September 2026.

The last consequence is arithmetic rather than advice. FDIC insurance is calculated per depositor, per insured bank, within each ownership category. This balance was an obligation of Webster Bank, N.A. and is now one of Santander Bank, N.A., so if you hold anything else at Santander, a savings balance or a certificate, those funds and this one sit at a single institution for coverage purposes where they previously sat at two. That is the mechanism, and it is all this page will say about it.

Questions people ask

Where do I sign in to HSA Bank?

At account.hsabank.com. The published path is account.hsabank.com/#/auth/login?partner=15, and it opened normally on 4 September 2026.

Is HSA Bank still part of Webster?

Not for the deposits. The purchase of Webster Financial Corporation completed on 20 August 2026, and HSA Bank is now described as a division of Santander Bank, N.A.

Why does the site still mention Webster then?

Because a second company still does a second job. Plan Administrative Services and Benefit Services are administered by Webster Servicing LLC, which is the plan side rather than the bank side.

What is the HSA Bank phone number?

The Client Assistance Center is 800-357-6246, or 414-978-5294, published as running 24/7. Employers and brokers use 866-357-5232 or 414-978-5282.

Does the ownership change affect my FDIC coverage?

It changes what the balance aggregates with. This deposit is Santander's obligation now, so it counts alongside other Santander deposits rather than Webster ones.

How much is covered?

This page quotes no figure. The FDIC publishes the current limit and an estimator at fdic.gov.

The new bank name made me think the site was fake. Was I wrong?

In this instance yes, and the instinct was sound. Verify it on the hsabank.com footer, then reach the login by typing account.hsabank.com.
